And it's not going to be posted here.
My wife of course is going to kill me, considering she believes that I need to keep this miserable account open for some reason. dA seems to think, despite the fact that I informed them I cannot upgrade my browser, that perhaps upgrading my browser would help. (Nevermind the fact that the site worked perfectly fine before and good web design means to keep things so older browsers and slower connections can sstill use it... it would take them too long to reinstall a test link they had a few months ago. But then again, that's a previous post.)
But, I've lost looked at the feedback I've gotten and how few people really care about my artwork here. It's not worth it. It's not worth posting a picture that I spend hours on when a pencil sketch will get more responses or favorites. It's not worth it to have the majority of the comments be "nice." Or be about the character that's in the picture. (Yes, I know Megavolt is a good villain. No, I didn't create him. No, I don't care that you barely remember the show from your childhood. Yes, I would appreciate comments on the art that are worthwhile.) And it's not worth it to even use this place as a way to "network with other artists" and be a part of a community.
Because, frankly, it's not worth it. This place really is like photobucket or smugmug or anything like that -- a place to upload your pictures for free because you don't have a gallery site or anything of the sort of your own. And, you know what... I do.
And, although I don't get any emails from ANYONE regarding the content there -- it's just about the same was this place.
So if you want to see artwork -- if you want to keep in touch, please head over to
[link] . That's where I'll be. But I don't expect much correspondance from there at all...
Why should I?
Devious Comments
I went looking for this sort of image after I discovered iGoogle's Solar System theme, which is really similar.
It makes you appreciate the raw natural beauty and power of space, and also makes it just a little bit smaller too.
